Passed away September 1, 2008 in San Pedro. He was born February 15, 1985 in the Philippines and was a 21 year resident of San Pedro. He is survived by his parents, Danilo V. and Thelma Decano Eslava; brothers, Danilo Joseph "Danjo", Danilo Nino and Philip Christopher Eslava; his sisters, Thedda Ann, Thedda Cleo, Marylou and Christine Eslava; his girl friend, Michelle Hoang; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
All our love and prayers go out to the Eslava family and all our friends.
Balong was a stand up guy, our beloved son, brother, cousin, boyfriend and friend. I'm lucky I had the chance to meet him. Now that he's left I've witnessed true love, support, and prayers from everyone that's he's touched and it's honestly brought a little more peace into my own life.
Rest peacefully Balong, and please continue to watch over us and keep us strong.
